WATERCOLOR  2022 at the Norris Cultural Center

A great time was had by all who attended the Watercolor 2022 exhibit at the Norris Cultural Center in St. Charles, IL. We enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces again after the two year hiatus.

The Kaneville Watercolor Group was well-represented. Several beautiful paintings were on display, and were recognized with three awards.

The "Watercolor 18" show at the Norris Cultural Center in St. Charles, IL, was well attended. It is always a pleasure to share perspectives with other artists.  I received an Award of Merit for my painting "Fishing on the Vermillion".  Two of my students who are fine artists in their own right, also won awards. Congratulations to  Pattie Seifrid and Fatima Figuerdo.

DANADA FINE ART & PHOTOGRAPY NATURE SHOW
October, 2017
It is always gratifying to be recognized for one's artwork. I was given an award this past weekend at the annual Danada Fine Art Nature Show. What is more satisfying though, is to have my students recognized for their work. It was a joy to see the surprise and elation on the faces of some of my students. Congratulations to Melissa for a beautiful painting, (which should have won an award in my opinion), and to both Debbie Freerksen and Karen Dodson for receiving awards. Well done! Persistence pays off!

Demonstrations
A packed house welcomed me back again this past April for another watercolor demonstration at Dick Blick's in Wheaton, sponsored by the Illinois Watercolor Society.
Picture

Thank you for inviting me to give a demonstration at the Artists Association of Elk Grove Village in March. It was a great group who had a lot of good questions. I always enjoy the opportunity to teach to a receptive audience.
