PPO-persistence pays off!

The National Watercolor Society is one of the oldest non-profit artist-led societies in the United States. The International Open Exhibition is the flagship exhibition of the National Watercolor Society, held in San Pedro, California.

Selected from a highly competitive international field, ninety-eight paintings will be featured in the exhibition this year. The defining criteria for selection is artistic vision, diversity, and excellence of contemporary watermedia.

I have submitted a painting every year for thirteen years, and received thirteen rejection letters!

This year, in my fourteenth attempt, I am excited that my painting above, "Convergence" has been selected for inclusion in this years' exhibition!
