I just completed writing and publishing my fifth and sixth book!
The books are One Point Perspective, and Two Point Perspective. They are not designed for the artist looking for instruction on drawing, but are totally mechanical in their approach to perspective. While perspective is often the most dreaded and least understood aspect of drawing, these new books follow the perspective course that I taught at the American Academy of Art in Chicago for twenty-eight years. My students found success in understanding the concepts they learned. I have not found a perspective book that explains the mechanics of drawing spaces and objects in great detail. Because I did not want the information to be lost to future generations of artists, I decided to document it in these two books. While there are no pretty pictures, the books have many helpful diagrams to walk you through the step-by-step process of mechanical perspective. They are available to purchase on Amazon, or you can purchase them directly from my website for $40.00 per book, available in hardcover only. I do not expect a great demand for these more advanced books, so rather than having them in stock, I will print on demand, which will take a few weeks longer to deliver to you. As always, contact me if you have questions about these books, my other books, or any questions you may have!
